What makes me tick

• My grandfather was my one of my favorite people in the world. He challenged me. He pushed me, and he was the one who really encouraged me to pursue photography as more than just a hobby.

• Eric is my favorite brother. OK, he’s my only brother, but even though he is 6-and-a-half years older, he’s also one of my best friends.

• I don’t like driving a car, I’d rather take my beach cruiser or Vespa. I think it has something to do with being in the fresh air.

• Someday I want to own a 1956 Porsche Speedster convertible. 

• I’m 1/4 Italian, but it’s the biggest quarter. I love to cook and have some favorite family recipes that I plan to photograph and share here.

• I used to be a competitive sailor. Like, really competitive. Sometimes I wonder why I quit. Now I sail because I love it. Wind in my face, salty, sea air–it’s the best.

• I have a rescued Pomeranian named Monty. He wears a studded collar and gets his hair done more often then I do. He likes to travel and loves the beach. He acts like a little monster when people come to our home, but he’s a dream in public. He’s high-maintenance but I love him.

• I’m a total coffee addict. Gotta have my latte every morning. Big ceramic mug, Delonghi machine, double-shot, sugar-free, non-fat, vanilla latte. I’m spoiled and i know it.

• I’m obsessed with Pinterest. If you don’t already know what Pinterest is, I’m sorry for introducing you to it. It’s highly addictive.–beware.

• I love Sam Edelman “Gigi” Sandals. I think I own like 7 pairs. They are my favorite summer sandals.

• I could eat frozen yogurt everyday. Love it–especially Pink Berry.

• My favorite animal is the penguin. There’s just something about them. Every time I see  one it makes me giggle like a little girl.
